Inland reservoirs and beaches
The reservoir of Ullíbarri-Gamboa is only 15 kilometers from Vitoria-Gasteiz. Access to the Park is through the A-3012 road, which links both the A-1 Vitoria-Gasteiz – Pamplona highway (exit Ozaeta), and the N-104 with the town of Ozaeta. Shortly before reaching the town of Maturana a detour indicates the entrance to Garaio Park
The Ullibarri-Gamboa reservoir has 3 indoor beaches where visitors can sunbathe, take a bath or simply enjoy the silence and beauty of a sunset. These beaches, whose quality is recognized by blue flag, are located in the Provincial Parks of Garaio and Landa, and have different services.

The Urrunaga reservoir, also known as Villarreal, Legutio or Santa Engracia, is the reference point of many Basque fishermen.
It is located in a high region that makes the border between Álava and Bizkaia, near the foothills of the Gorbea, and is used to supply drinking water to both provinces.
The Maroño reservoir, located in the town of the same name, belonging to the municipality of Ayala, is protected by the Sierra Salvada, a mountain range of steep slopes and vertical rock formations that rises above this valley in the north of Álava.
From the Maroño Reservoir, built at the beginning of the nineties, nearby peaks can be seen, such as Tologorri, Ungino and Eskutxi, which, with its 1,180 meters high, is the roof of the Sierra Salvada. It is also worth admiring its splendid wooded environment, composed of pine forests, oaks and shrubs.
